Designed By Faith Equestrian Center is a beautiful family run and operated equestrian facility located in LaPorte, IN. We are the proud home of Designed By Faith Equestrians and Danielle Faith Show Horses. Our goal is to make a positive and lasting impact on the local horse community by providing a safe & welcoming learning environment and quality instruction. We base our instruction around showing and welcome all levels of riders. 

The McDermott family built the original barn in 1994 with the dream of having personally owned horses right at home.  When Michael and Debora's daughter, Danielle, was born, she inherited her mother's love for horses. Danielle started showing horses in 4H, which sparked a competitive edge and lead to her joining an equestrian team located near Columbus, OH. She fell in love with the IEA and the impact the program and her coaches made on her riding abilities. As a sophomore in high school, she said that one day she wanted to coach her own team and give equestrians in Northern Indiana the opportunity to have the same experience.  She went on to show the PtHA, APHA, and AQHA circuits under the guidance of multiple respected and accomplished horsemen. In 2020, she decided to branch off, give up her amateur status, and with the family's support, was able to make her dream of coaching an IEA team come to life. Many additions and upgrades have been made to the facility over the years as it transformed into the show barn that it is today.
